"Stir of Echoes"
"The Sixth Sense" meets "the Shining".
This is a story about a young boy who sees and talks to dead people.
But guess what, he can't talk to adults about this because they don't
believe. When dad starts to
see things he becomes a whole different person acting in a paranoid compulsive
manner. Don't worry he doesn't take
to opening doors with an axe. He
tears up floors with a jack hammer. Two
things I really liked about this movie. Kevin
Bacon turns in a great performance of a man dealing with thoughts and visions
that he can't ignore. While
much of the movie is shown from the traditional third person perspective, a major portion of the movie is in the first person and the filmmakers
do a great job of showing us what Kevin is seeing, hearing and experiencing.
Well worth experiencing.
