Random Hearts

 

American Graffiti, Blade Runner,  Star Wars,  Indiana Jones, Clear and Present Danger and on and on.  And now, Random Hearts.  What happened?  Year after year I look forward to the latest film from Harrison Ford.  Some good, some great but always entertaining.  Until now.  This is a story about two people that come together from different worlds, with different outlooks, different goals and nothing in common except two dead spouses.  And we are supposed to believe that these two people who both loved and were true to their spouses jump in to bed when their loved ones are barely in the ground.  This despite the fact  that they can’t stand each other.  If only the movie went as quick as this romance, but instead this instant romance seemed to take hours of my time to endure.
