Whatever
your opinion or beliefs are concerning the bible it may surprise you to learn
that within the bible is encrypted the entire history of mankind. Using a special computer program that
can decipher the three dimensional matrix that contains the encrypted messages,
a scholar is able to decrypt a series of messages that tell the future. One of the worlds richest men steals
this program and uses it to unite the world under one world government and set
himself up as supreme ruler and God. When he decides to destroy
Jerusalem and the entire Middle East with nuclear bombs he has failed to take
into account that he is missing the final message because two prophets have the
last page of the manual. Of course
he has these two prophets killed ( on worldwide TV no less) . But these are prophets so when it is
time to stop the bad guy they rise from the dead and give the missing page to a
Tony Robbins type that is trying to stop the evil
tyrant.
To say that this movie stretches the imagination is an
understatement. In order to follow
and believe the nonsense that is presented on the screen requires stretching and
distorting your sense of reality beyond recognition. As one of the most confusing,
bewildering and illogical movies I can recall The Omega Code easily becomes my choice
for worst movie of 1999. I pray that no movie will come along in the remaining
months to upstage this honor because wasting two hours on a movie like this is
not an experience I want to repeat.
